4MP is a collaborative interactive music system built using the rope&pulley system invented by Michael Chladil. Four participants make music together by pulling on ropes. Each rope controls the playback of a separate musical track. Participants improvise by playing the tracks together: either they duplicate the sound of the original multi-track recording, or they make something new together.
